1. The UN decided where the border lines should go but they have NO say. Israel fought the 1948 war the 6 day war and the Yom Kippur war THEY decide not the UN. It is unreasonable for a "rational" person to expect a nation who's has sons die in a war they did not launch and in that defense just be expected to just go back to life exactly the way it was before. You can find pictures all along Gaza and the west bank of them to this day building those tunnels ..so when they stop so will Israel. As far as torture goes i hardly think amnesty international has "proof" i have yet to see any. Do they bulldoze on the Egypt border to make new settlements in Egypt ? thats just a stupid lie.
3. Its impossible to say there isn't racial tension there but considering the number of Arabs in Israel and in the IDF saying there's an across the board racism against all Arabs is bullshit.
4.If you read 4's examples of human right violations i think its pretty obvious those are not examples of human rights violations. If the United States believed they were human rights violators then we would not give them aid. WE do give them aid so obviously we do not believe they break human rights laws.
5. We pick our allies not the rest of the world. If a particular alliance creates an enemy than that is their choosing. We are not simply going to abandon Israel tomorrow because someone doesn't like them.

I hardly think Hezbollah wants the US involved in this situation. I agree, they do want Israel to get involved. And like you and I said, Israel has a right to defend themselves.
