The KKK or any militant faction does not have to represent the US. If they reside with in the borders of the United States then it is the responsibility of the United States to ensure that no faction that intends to inflict harm can exist. If the United States does nothing in terms of stopping these factions then they are in fact responsible for their actions. That's the representation. The KKK is not a good analogy. Think "Swordfish". If the US government allowed them to prep monies and arms to war against muslims then it's the same as sending their own army to do it.CameronPoe wrote:

That is not to mention the fact that Israel didn't give Lebanon any chance ('chronologically' speaking) to try and take action against what was occurring on the Israel-Lebanon border.
In today's politics, these muslim nations and factions believe the same as you that since Hezzbolah doesn't represent Lebanon with a military uniform or a flag, then Lebanon cannot be at fault. We have by far been gone form wars of old with uniforms and flags. That is ancient war where respect was met on the battlefield. Well, since Israel's enemy has changed the rules, then so can Isreal. There is no more respect on the battlefield. There's no more humanity, no more rules of engagement, and no more valor. War is indeed about survival and security. When a nation's survival or security is on the line, the only people that care about rules are those sitting behind computers thousands of miles away reading history books about wars of old.
People are completely insane.
Firstly, general disagreement with the state of Israel is NOT ANTI-SEMITISM. That is completely insane to believe that.
Secondly, Israel is the single most aggressive world power since National Socialist Germany of the 30s; what blurs the line between land for Israeli settlers and Hitler's quest for liebensraum for the herrenvolk? And what other modernized 'Western' country (aside from the United States) has been allowed to use pre-emptive invasion as a response to acts of terrorism committed by non-governmentally represented sects?
Thirdly, what is the difference between the rampant anti-semitism of the United States and greater Western Europe during the early 20th century (culminating, of course, with the German Sonderkommando A4's inevitable raping, pillaging, and massacre of millions of undesireables during the Second World War) and the rampant anti-muslimism of the United States and Western Europe during the early 21st century?
I know most of you feel comparisons to the events of the last century are tiresome, but I feel like history repeats itself and it is all worth mentioning in terms of perspective.

The klan can't fart without it being logged in Langley (for those that don't know, Langley, Virginia is stereotypically the hub of the US intel industry), and all the muslim nations have had decades to clean up their own back yard, I wish I were home so I could find a link to the fund raising marathons showing arabs by the thousands, in full view of any government agencies, bring jewelry, electronics, even cars and houses to be donated to fund these openly militant organizations.

Neither of us can categorically state that the Lebanese government were supporting or not preventing Hezbollah militants in carrying out these attacks. The fact that the Lebanese government and people are distinctly 'peeved' with Syria after their Hariri assassination would lead me to believe that they wouldn't exactly have been doing much to help Hezbollah. Not to mention the fact that Lebanon is approximately 50% catholic.M1-Lightning wrote:

Your theory on war is worrying. Do you not realise that heavy-handed collective punishment breeds terrorism? Also, if one were to maraud into Lebanon killing all and sundry where would it end? Lebanon - Syria - Iran - Iraq - Saudi Arabia - Jordan - Egypt - UAE - etc. ad infinitum. Do you propose - to get rid of Israel's problems - that all arabs and muslims all over the world be exterminated - just to make sure?
Israel's take no shit policy is deserved. Hezbollah and Hamas cannot be respected as legitmate when they perpetrate acts of violence. They certainly cry foul every time they find out Israel can play that game much better. Put up some more posters calling them "martyr's" you should hang some up in your loft Cameron.

OK so Lebanese civilians are 'paying in full' for the acts of a few militants who were probably Syrian or Iranian. That sounds fair. NOT.
Here's something that links Iran to Lebanon to Hezbollah:CameronPoe wrote:

True or not? Owning a CIA t-shirt doesn't make me an agent...
Get your obvious meter out: the situation blows. Israel inherited a tenuous situation from the start, the displaced individuals hate Israel. Israel has been a target for centuries. Over time they have adopted a policy of overreaction to deter attacks. It hasn't worked. I'm sure diplomacy has been tried over and over. It hasn't worked.
Who knows how far the justification goes for the Israeli government - but if the above link is true - then they were looking for an excuse to attack.
Do I support Israel or some other country? I haven't decided. All I know is don't fuck with the Israelis because they are on high alert 24/7.
I said it before and ill say it again. It comes down to two sides. Do beleive in God or Allah? What side will you be on. I feel bad for the Israelis. That is full on crock of shit. Israel is responsible for more acts of violence than any other nation in the world, except for Nazi Germany. Israel can not be respected as legitimate when they continually murder innocent people, attack civilians with military assets, and steal land. What happened when Palestine agreed to the pullout and it's conditions? I'll tell you: Israel left troops on the land and promptly launched Naval shells on a beach killing civilians.
If you want to get into a war of words about who is the agressor and guilty of more atrocities, I can cite many more examples of Israel being at fault than you can...take off your blinders and try to look at the facts objectively, if you aren't already blinded by your hate for Muslims.
Where does it state that Lebanon condones what Hezbollah did?Pug wrote:

When civilians attack Israel, Israel attacks them back. That's how war is fought today. Civilians ARE the enemy.HM1{N} wrote:

Think they hand out candy in Jerusalem ?In Beirut, residents gave out sweets in celebration of the kidnapping, while convoys of young men drove through the downtown district, waving Hezbollah’s yellow flag.
If daddys going to be a militant that kills civilians he really shouldnt hide with his familty. The owner of the house, Nabil Abu Salmiyeh, who was reported to be a Hamas member, was killed along with his wife, Salwa, and seven of their children, ages 7 to 18, Dr. Saqqa said.
Israel gave them a chance, (you could even say it was a set-up) when they gave them back a large section of land. They've tried peace talks. Nothing works with these fucktards. All they know is violence. If it's violence they want, I say lets give it to 'em. Israel could walk right through any bordering country with ease and take EVERYTHING THEY FUCKING OWN if they wanted to. But they don't. They try to be peaceful and stay within their own borders until they need to get some paybacks. I have NEVER heard of an Israeli pre-emptive strike on anyone. They go after the terrorists, where ever they are and I admire them for that. You feel bad for the innocent women and children who get hurt or killed in these attacks? Oh poor thing...Guess who the terrorists SPECIFICALLY target? Innocent women and children. You fuckers need to wake up. It's not going to stop. Ever. And it aint Israel who startin' shit. I got their back. That's all they need
