great! then why do u at all call it Lebanon? why dont u call it State Of Nasralla, or State Of Hezbollah??? with hezbollah civilians, hezbollah airport, hezbolah tv station, hezbolah roads, hezbollah bridges, hezbolah facilities... whats the point to call this country Lebanon if Hezbolah control all this??? (intresting reality huh?) so thats the point! israel is got anought of this reality! this reality is 38 years old and Israel is not about to live with this reality anymore! Israel is going to destroy this reality, ruin this reality, massive destruction of this reality, as i already sayd in this thread Israel is about SMASH IT FUCKING OFF!

Israel will stop this war when normal Lebanon govermen will be able to control his own country! so this is the best time to Lebanon goverment to proof himself! Lebanon goverment MUST grasp this possibility, if they want to get control back, if they want peacefull life for theyr people, with no airstrikes and suicide bombers!

to Egypt its took 3 global wars, i hope Lebanon will be smart and stops on 2!

No that's not true - anti-civilian acts are unjust. But I say deal with the original injustice first (the casting out of their homes of millions of Palestinians, without compensation).
The violence will stop when Israel destroys their enemy. Plain and simple.  If their enemies destroy Israel, their will still not be peace, and if they stop their violence now, then it will start again.  I hope Israel wipes the sorry bastards off the face of the earth.......BTW, if Hezballah doesn't "represent" Lebanon, than why were they DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED into their government?
Hezbollah represenet A SEGMENT OF LEBANESE SOCIETY. Not the Lebanese as a whole. Hezbollah are a minority group. They only have two ministers in office.

So now you're fighting a war with Lebanon itself. Ah, that clears a few things up.

Nice scoping.
not really

Post-Lebanese election

After the 2005 elections, Hezbollah held 23 seats (up from eight previously) in the 128-member Lebanese Parliament. It also participated for the first time in the Lebanese government that was formed in July 2005. Hezbollah has two ministers in the government, and a third is Hezbollah-endorsed. It is primarily active in the Bekaa Valley, the southern suburbs of Beirut, and southern Lebanon. The group is headed by Hassan Nasrallah and is financed largely by Iran and Syria, though it also raises funds itself through charities and commercial activities.[citation needed]
Political activities

Hezbollah is an active participant in the political life and processes of Lebanon (much in the same way as Hamas in Palestinian communities). The organization has been involved in activities like building schools, clinics, and hospitals.[9][58] In 1992, it participated in Lebanese elections for the first time, winning 12 out of 128 seats in parliament. It won 10 seats in 1996, and 8 in 2000. In the general election of 2005, it won 23 seats nationwide, and an Amal-Hezbollah alliance won all 23 seats in Southern Lebanon.

Mohamed Fneish was appointed Energy and Water Minister in the cabinet and has been quoted as saying "We are a political force that took part in the polls under the banner of defending the resistance and protecting Lebanon and got among the highest level of popular backing ... Hezbollah’s resistance (against Israel) does not in any way contradict its political role. If joining the government and parliament is a national duty, then so is defending the country.”[59]

It is interesting the accounts don't agree, the first wiki article saying 14 and the second 23.  What did you say again?  28?  That's interesting too.  Hey, let's convert those into percentages, yes?

The first wiki article:
14/128 = 10.9% of Lebanon's parliament represent Hezbollah

The second wiki article:
23/128 = 18.0% of Lebanon's parliament represent Hezbollah

We don't know which of those is correct, of course.  Here's what somebody else said...

You:
28/128 = 21.9% of Lebanon's parliament represent Hezbollah

Seems to me that it's your attempt to "maximize" Hezbollah's part in the government that's insincere.  Never mind, though, eh?  I mean, what you said was only about 40% bullshit, right?  Yum!

Caeron with all due respect books dont mean bullshit you havent been in a war or fought in one. Hezbollah fires rockets unguided weapons which can kill civilians Israeli's fire smart bombs which can be as accurate as 1 foot in any direction. And apparently your news hasnt reported of the Israeli jets dropping fliers to warn civilians of an air raid? No i guess ignorance is too thick for that if its anyones fault that civilians are dying its Hezbollah and the stupid civilians who dont bother to move. Also on the news you can see rockets been fired then an airstrike on that area. The citizens in the area of Hezbollah mortars dont agree with what Hezbollah are doing because they know there will be an airstrike in that area. You know what Israel should just go ahead and call it collateral damage like other countries and it will all be ok. Ive been reading thif forum for a long time and have read your posts id like to say that most of them i disagree with but we all have opinions. The thing i would agree with is bombing of civilian targets it has happend to me and is not a nice experience. But i guess no one was pointing the finger at NATO when they did it its just "collateral damage" not murder.
no eh ? i mean eh.. have a molson eh ? and learn some facts before talking shit eh ?

go look it up eh ? resistance groups comprise about 40% of thier parliament eh ?

Molson is moose piss we export to countries that don't know any better.  Speaking of not knowing any better, I suppose I'm wasting my time if I point out it was you that got caught pulling numbers out of your ass, not me.  Well, hope springs eternal...

It was you that got caught pulling numbers out of your ass, not me.

And now you're casually switching to "resistance groups", as if you weren't really talking about Hezbollah all along.  Nice try.  "Resistance" is about as vague and subjective as you can get.  Which, coincidentally, is about as vague as you need it to be in order to not get proved wrong.  Again.

ROFL...  Next you'll be telling us Gavrilo Princip held 28 seats in the Serbian parliament.  Shit, that's not funny...

You have no understanding of war. You think its all glorious mano y mano fighting. Israel has every right to strike as far north as they need. There are things called supply lines that need to be disrupted. If the supplies are disrupted then there arent any missles for Hezbollah to continue firing. As for the ground invasion that is just stupid. You have to soften up a target before you move in. Thats just common sense. I guess we shouldnt have shelled and bombed normandy before we moved in because that wasnt macho enough for you.
Nice way to make assumptions. I've read more than enough about war thank you very much and I'm completely aware of the supply issue and the need to 'soften up targets'. I think the 'targets' are pretty 'soft' at this stage. As is practically the entire country of Lebanon.
Ohh so you have "read" about war. Lol. Does that make you an expert? I think it takes more than a week to disrupt supply lines. Its an ongoing thing. And as for the civilian deaths maybe civilians shouldnt keep rockets inside their houses. There was a story today about a house that had a special launch pad built inside it. Hezbollah is to blame for civilian deaths, not Israel.

With all due respect books mean a lot. I haven't been in war and hope I never have to go to war. Have you fought in war? The fact I haven't been to war does not reduce the validity of many of the arguments I have made. I'm aware of the Israeli flyers - did you see somewhere where I denied that: I can't imagine you did. I'm not going to restate all of the various arguments I've already made because you obviously disagree and that is that.

Well if the palestinians weren't run by a terroist (Yasser Arafat) for 30 years+ than maybe they would have a state, an economy, a life! But they choose to support a man who funded and supported and was infact a terrorist himself, hence the modern day conflict.  The arabs are pissed cause they got their nuts handed to em' by Israel, WHEN THEY THEMSELVES ATTACKED Israel! So I have no sympathy for a bunch of babies who got beat, and because they got beat want some sort of compensation.  Its ABSURD!!! The jews have every right to live and exist in that area, one could argue they have been their longer than the frigging palestinians!!  Yes atrocities have occured on both sides, but you should ask yourselves, who REALLY started this conflict?? History doesnt favor the Arab argument feel free to open a history book and see. . .

Exactly. Its funny how people like Cameron, who have all the benefits of western civilization, whine and moan so much when its obvious that if Hezbollah or any islamo-facist regime were in control they wouldnt even be allowed to voice objection.
