two questions:

1. why can i not set to "ultra-high"

2. will i get higher quality sound using "from software" or with my hardware (puremusic)

teh only way your gonna get ultra high is with an Sound blaster xfi sound card.... and let me tell u its worth it.

ultra high is XFi only... its awsome and the cards are worth it...

Turn off EAX so you can hear artillery from far away, and jets sound better.

Orly? theres no difference to me... coz i have XFi sound card

difference between hardware and software is that u have a dedicated sound card or not. software is for onboard sound and hardware is for soundcard

Ultra-high can only be used if you have Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi.
