i downloaded AF a while ago, and could play it, but i had to uninstall the game and reinstall with 1.3, and now i cant play AF anymore. when i go into the downloader, it says that the game is "ready to play", but i am unable to play it (servers running it show up red)

help?

Try going to- C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Downloader\cache\YOURNAME and open the two folders at the top (they should have names like eagamesbf2-2006online_map_contentbf2af)

Click setup.exe to install them.

all those files are there, but there is no .exe

It should look like that, but if that doesn't work try moving the 2 folders somewhere else and see if you can redownload.

Well i just d/l AF, installed it all ok but cant tell if there is any AF servers. Also when i log in I still get the "d/l AF" nag screen.

Any help would be appreciated.

You hav to look for the maps for AF. Since it is a booster pack you can mix BF2v and AF maps. You wont get an orange 2 for AF and the nag screen stays untill EA changes it for some new news.

Just delete EA downloader and all files with it then reinstall the downloader and download AF again. That will work.

i am having the same problem and i cant get into the files because windows aks me what program i want to open those with.I said to open the fies with IE now i cant do it at all.

You need to go to the EA downloader site and re download it, install EA Downloader and then download AF and install it. It works, Ive done it along with EF a few times.
