I know of 3DMark but I was interested in the FREE part of the question. I just don't want to pay $20 because I'm curious, maybe if the program was helpful in some way but for all it does, just not worth it for me.

If you dont have a top of the line computer then i would not recommend 3DMark06 because medium power computers will handle it extremely slowly so try 3DMark05

Whenever you're comparing epenises w/ those, you're using the defaults anyway. agreed.

but then wouldn't a stress test like prime95 be a better option?
stressing ur gpu and cpu at same time prime doesnt do gpu stress... and sumtimes running FTT's wont mean real world stability... u could prime all for 32 days straight and still might not be able to run 32m super pi.puckmercury wrote:
