Sniped is looking around for me (continued from graphic card topic)

Basically I am looking for a laptop with wireless support (mouse supprt as well but I think they all come with a mouse slot) and can support BF2

I am looking at a few, this is what my price range is allowing: (1200 - 1665 USD)

Toshiba, Compaq, Dell and Acer laptops have always treat me nice, when I've worked on them. I'll give you a few minutes of research in a bit...

Sorry, out of time here. Off the top of my head, premiere computer builders like FalconNW and WidowPC are going to cost you a pretty penny over USD$1600, but you should still give them a look. They are gaming rigs, and will run BF2 beautifully. Probably the most important thing to keep in mind for a laptop is its display. What sort of dead pixel warranty are you getting into, how bright is it, what is its contrast, and what is its most extreme possible viewing angle. I recommend that you either read testimonials, or go to a computer shop in your area and look at the thing for yourself.

Just make sure you don't pick a laptop with Intel's "integrated" video card. That's what the M65 Toshiba has.

You get poor game performance from those.

lol.

Apparently I can't redo the sound card so...

But I have updated it to include a floppy drive and a better DVD drive

Someone tell me if that DVD drive supports DVD-ROMS

(and if the system will run BF, )

If you go for Dell, then go for the Insprion 9400 and stick the Nividia 7900GS in it, you will have a more then decent laptop.
