Lag on first 5 to 10 minutes.

I get a lag on every map the first 5 to 10 minutes while my ping is always below 25.
If the round is over and I get the same map as the previous one, I don't have this.
Anyone had a similar problem... and how did you (if so) got rid of it?

thats a hardware issue then, how much RAM, video memory do you have, and what type of vid card and processor you got?

I have it sometimes, when my computer is overstressed by 10 hours of playing. Solution for me is: stop playing and let computer cool down or wait for awhile.

i would try MEM timing, also you can turn your page file space up(not a good fix thou)

Updated punkbuster... no change
everything on low .... less drastic... but still the lagg ..

TheRealRyanRay can you explain it more to me ... I don't really know what you are talking about

I have the same amount of RAM but mine is running at DD266 or PC2100 speed, I also have a 2.2GHz P4, but you have a better video card. I play it on Medium with a little bit of lag.

I had that on ghost town all the time, so now i put them on medium and it works
i still enjoy high on all other maps though
