It really does amuse me when we have so many good questions/statements on these forums, yet the admins who read them "refuse" to answer them. Yet they respond in "if you do this that, of course you'll be kicked/banned". Are they afraid to answer the questions, or do they know they made a mistake and are afraid to tell? For one example, Kolhozik completly dodged all the questions and statements, and only replied:
Pardon my French sir, but you are a fucking retard. MoonGamers is a community, means: we listen to our members. When majority of members is asking for same thing to be changed, we look into it.
And get kicked for high ping???? Thanks, but NO thanks. I hate TV2 servers, i got kicked twice for having a high ping of 200.
Grow up bitch.
I think that all online forums/chats should have a STRICT age verification process, and give people a SPELLING TEST before they can post/reply.
+1 for you.
yeah you know, in war, YOU CAN SPAWN AS MANY TIMES AS YOU WISH
No proof, NO CARE
Get with a programm slick.
Poor guy in distress? First, he got kicked, not banned, its not the end of the world, i kicked myself once for being idle. Second, come on man, the guy posted what he did, and he knows why he got kicked. So what was the point of starting this thread? I'm sure he did spawn camp, and thats what he got kicked for. We had a guy (not going to mention his name) post an unban saying he is trying to join server, but cant, because he is banned and doesnt know why. We looked into it and i was the one that banned his CD-Hash for blatand TK. Turns out he had a TK account, i banned him under one name, he came back under another, but his CD-Hash is still the same. Point of this is that 99% know why they where kicked/banned, they know they broke the rule(s), yet they still come on here and bitch about it. I can understand bitching if you were kicked for high ping of 50 or even 300, thats just plain fucked up, because ISPs have signal spikes, and its not exactly your fault.
I read all this accusations and yet no one has proof to post

Its simple. If you can not play by the rules of the server, then *gasp* don't bother joining the server.canadarocks wrote:
Comet, you have "zero" ability to figure out what were debating mate.
Its not about respecting the rules, but that the rule(s) should not even exists. Get with the program...These type rules are ruining the 360 degree battlefield...and how its truly suppose to be played.
However, when you select a Moongamers server and select "Join Game" you are choosing to join our server, and while any player is on the Moongamers servers, wether they be a new player, a regular player, or a admin, we expect everyone to follow and abide by the rules. If you can't, you might wanna stop and think before you hit "Join Game"
But your reply is not an answer to the issues on topic. It is common sense to play where you can get a fair deal so that cannot possibly be what this is about. Agreed? Its normal to expect rules and the enforcement to apply to everyone equally, especially to admins who must be held to a higher standard than joe player not lower, and that those rules not be crafted in such a way as to contaminate the ranked database.
When someone comes to this or your forum and with good intent and asks questions, complains about decisions trying to get an impartial review or presents observations and gets flamed by half a dozen admins for it (instead of discussing the issue) there is a problem with the decision making processes and people skills.
Your last sentence does not cut it, m8. People who don't have expereince on a particular server may read rules that seem cool but once in the game they find out too late that the various admins on duty do not all understand and enforce the rules uniformly - then they get upset and the cycle starts again (and not just on your server). lol. We must be able to do better than this!
Stick with it we can do better
P.S. I do not support the flaming namecalling crap that is going on in this thread on either side. It is totally fogging the thread. Let's stay focussed on making BF2 the best supported game we can OK? Sound good to you?

------Bringing up a few questions:
~Why should spawn camping the Hotel be disallowed? When an average player is spawncamping the hotel, they are worried about watching the alleys. If it's someone on foot spawncamping, all the other team has to do is spawn square and pick them off, because the spawncamper is a sitting duck. If their in armor, the other team should spawn spec ops and sneak up on them. besides, it is a US tactic. It keeps the streets clean so the US can cap the hotel. Plain and simple. Battlefield requires a brain.
~Next question, why should "teamswitching" be disallowed? I thought Battlefield 2 promoted team play. On moongamers, if you teamswitch to play with your clan, you will be kicked for "teamstacking". Clans play as a team and when they do, they usually dominate. But if everyone in the same clan removed their tags, it wouldnt look like team stacking, just normal play. So what is the point of a clan tag? People being kicked for playing with there frieds is worng. I read on here that some got kicked for "teamswitching" even though he was moved to the other team by the server. He got kicked 40 minutes after he was moved if I remember reading correctly. A pretty long time to react, and basicly no proof he physically switched teams. Pretty harsh.
~Last Question regarding their rules: Why cant you use armor for more than 2 consecutive rounds? An interesting rule to see here. At the beginning of each round, it is fair game. There are random spawnpoints so anyone could get in the armor. Its not like one person automaticly gets the armor in the beginning. Everyone has a fair chance. So some people like to play a certain vehicle, I see no problem with that. That rule doesn't do anything besides add another rule to be followed. Way too many rules for this 24/7 karkand to be in my favorites.
Lets see if we get some good replies with those. If someone has something to ask, please do.OpsChief wrote:
lol well very interesting bud, first I will say I am interested in keeping BF2 alive and well as Im sure you are. But alive as it was designed not this lesser CounterStrike in BF2 wrapping that it has become on so many servers. BF2 ROE applies to any ranked server participating in ranked play last I knew. If not how is it they pull ranked status???{TA}FireStorm wrote:

If I can show you how that spawn fence is breaking 2-3 EA ROE rules would you change it?
they will enlighten you on this.
as stated 5,000,000X befor if you dont like a servers rules....play elsewhere simple as that.
our servers are full 24/7 is yours?
Firestorm You dismiss me so quickly after I have spent many many words in so many threads and PMs defending moongamers right to work within the ROE, and with exactly what you say to me here, "go play somewhere else". I have gone. I speak up to let people know they are allowed to go elsewhere and that they should follow posted server rules. Disrespecting an admin for enforcing rules is noobish, in-game. Calling the rules to question in a public forum is proper.
To your 24/7 comment -I guess I missed something at some point, is it important that my server is full 24/7? Could this be Ad Homenim? lol My server's bigger than yours??? you've been playin with the kiddies too much m8!!! We're too damn old to smack that way, I think. Back to topic...
The ROE does apply to all ranked servers when certain circumstances occur regarding exploiting the game in combination with limits on weapons and other manipulations. Within the spawn fenced area of moongamers karkand server it appears to be in violation but - maybe that the rest of Karkand is still open makes it OK??? As long as armor is allowed to shoot anywhere else it OK even if there are no targets!!!
I make no accusation. I merely observe and report and suggest a re-evaluation of a possible violation. Surely accidental based on incremental creepage of customer demand. Besides a reassessment from time to time is good business ethics, don't you agree?
Moongamers are within their right to have private rules until such time as they violate ranked server ROE.
The Moongamer spawn fences create a massively increased sustained score per minute cycle exceeding the game design second only to knife-revive or similar padding cycles and upsetting the ranked games >< delicate balance (OK the delicate part isn't your fault). In effect Moongamers is enabling a form of stat padding that more or less forces anyone in the fenced playground to participate. When played as BF2 was designed the hotel is a useless $20 a night fleabag. Your design is like playing 64 players on a 16 player map. The rape fence at the USMC arty firebases completely ruins any shred of strategic value in a game. Was this what BF2 intended? If the map was designed with points and play balance for each map scenario and you change it to increase stats this is a violation. To allow AT and other kits to fire out at armor that may not fire back at them is not within the ROE.
Moongamer users are sharing in the global points system so should be playing more standard games. As it is now Moongamers Karkand Hotel is stat tweaked, pure and simple. A little data capture will show it easily. I am not the only one who sees it, many people have said they like the high points they get there.
Is this the price to pay to keep the server 30+ 24/7? Those rules have turned admins into hired hitmen for the noobs who can't figure out where to spawn and what to spawn with and how to fight strategically. Well some can but they don't want to because they will get fewer points, which is kind of worse don't you think? What those few who get it want is noob targets downrange to pump up their stats.
Moongamers Karkand has too many rules to enforce by too few admins who would rather be playing - and they have said so many times and nobody can blame that sentiment. Take down the fences for a day and play the 360 degree non-linear battlefield. Its the way this game was meant to be played.
Anyway good luck and have some fun
