hey fellas . last night was the usual story ctd before even hitting escape or join game . i uninstalled everything , including the bf2 folder in my documents . when removing bf2 , if you are prompted to remove something REMOVE IT . i reinstallled in this order BF2 , SF , PATCH 1.3 FULL , EF , AF .
MY BLOODY GAME WORKS NOW
on start up when i hit connect to account server it takes about 3 seconds to get to bfhq WTF . I went on 5 servers which i instantly crashed and played, unreal . my ping also appears to be lower now ?
i reinstalled on my new 200gb hdd G drive so maybe this is why loading is faster i dont know ?
IMPORTANT UPDATE PUNKBUSTER . as the joy of actually getting in a server is short lived , when you get kicked by PB because your not updated
anyway every thanks for posting all the solutions here . i cant beleve i didnt do it earlier .
