Game wont load...and i'm starting to get the shakes

Had to rebuild my system du to install of new system board and video card. It all worked great but then i started messing around with duel display settings and also installed the IBM driver for my IBM L190P TFT screen and now the BF@ splash screen start and it all goes black, as if its going to start, and then drops back to the desktop. I have uninstalled and reinstalled BF2, display drivers, adapter drivers at least three times and attempted to run BF2 vanilla with no success. I can run any downloaded BF2 vids fine and any other games fine but god dam BF2. Need ideas quick!!!

PS. it has worked in the past on this new HW

uninstall bf2 and remove the folder "battlefield 2" in your my documents, then reinstall and install the latest patch and see what happens

This happened when my computer was at the shop (something is turning my comp off when I play) and they wanted to play BF2 to see if they could recreate my problem.

And the exact thing happened to them!
Then they tried another screen and voilá, it worked like a charm.

I use a DVI cable but I think they used an old screen that didn't have DVI.

I realize as I'm typing that this won't help you very much...

Anymoo, hope the uninstall-install process helps but I think it's driver related.

BF2 likes to fuck up... since i got the game, i had to reinstall it 3 times

hey this is alittle different....my game works but for AF and EF.....EA Downloader says the booster packs are downloaded and ready to play but when i try to play them.....they wont work....HELP ME PLEASE!
