I was (and still am) Loaf.
I shall now explain. You don't have to read this part if you don't want to. I know most of you won't. I am a baritone sax player by trade. I was the bari sax in our lead jazz ensemble, and when we were sight reading (playing for the first time) one of our songs, my sound kinda...shrunk. The director of our bands likes to think of bands as a sandwich. There's the bottom slice of bread (tuba, bass clarinet, bari sax, etc), the meat (tenor sax, 2nd and 3rd clarinet, lower trumpets), and the top slice of bread (flutes, alto sax, high trumpets, 1st clarinets, etc.). He put this analagy to the sax section in jazz ensemble, and told me that my slice of bread needed to be huge. Like...a Loaf of bread. So I am now Loaf.
And I bet none of you really cared. ^.^
