Ok here is some more info....

duffry is just finishing up a checklist, and the selections will be posted soon.

I know that Kmarion went to the trouble of creating a forum, and that is appreciated. But I want to encourage medics to join the one here: http://community.dmz-gaming.com/medics/index.php It seems with the popularity of theese types of events, that once again are being put on on duffry and the DMZ clan, there will most likely be more events to follow such as this one. The benefit of this site is that it is a DMZ site and future events/matches will have the information available on this site.

I will be the admin on this site, and will be choosing some mods. Its still being worked on, but there are some topics available, including a hidden tatics page that only medics on the sign up list can view.

for long range I will be using the g36e as MEC & PLA, and the m16 as USMC. you can NOT be reliably accurate over long distances with an AK. (looong distance)

but once we get close.. mmmm whip out that AK and watch the snipers run

The G36e has quite a punch at close range, but I'd still prefer the L85a1 for long distance shots, but considering the opponent, I do not think long range combat is this teams specialty!

Ok final change of plans here. The list of people that want in is still growing, as well as the hype of this event. With theese aspects in mind, I've decided that the best thing to do is pick the remaining players based on stats. It will be an easy way to do it, and winning is becoming more and more important due to the fact that there are more eyes on this thing every day. Choosing the remaing players based on stats also gives us a chance to focus on strategy and the things that we need to do to win. I'm sorry to exlude people, but it has to be done. The next time, better planning and alternate selection methods will be executed. Nobody really expected to see the types of growth that we have seen in such a short amount of time. I will be trying to contact players so if you signed up and have good stats, keep an eye out for me! Signing on Xfire makes my job a little easier as well, so hopefully it will happen. Once again, I apologize to those that have signed up that won't get a chance to play, but keep in mind that schedules change so everyone will be considered alternates.

P.S. Sign up on the medic forum so I can get in touch with you, damn it!

Make sure and follow all the instructions during the mod install.

If you have Battlefield 2 installed to a different directory/drive other than the default location then you have to edit the shortcut properties to reflect the location of where Battlefield 2 is installed.
