TriggerLID: Power Nubs Unite; +6|6749

Someone had a problem with this a few weeks ago I think too. I start up my BF2 and get:
Error!
mods/bf2/shaders/lightning.fx not found!!! _DO_ check your working directory, _AND_ sync your shaders folder before calling upon your local rendering programmer/GP. (really!)

Help would be appreciated

oh and i had that problem with the game when i first bought it. i just reinstalled and everything was normal.

All you have to do is download the patch from somewhere else and re patch, I had exactly the same problem.
