When I´m a Commander and must repair, revive or something I resign and try to apply after that.
When you command, you get the team points too. It don't appear during the round but you still get, for example, the repair vet badge or first aid badge. Your Team points appear in your stats for the service medal for eg.
A good way to get driver special is to be at TV missile in the SU 34 or F18 with a (very) good pilot who knows that you're in the plane the team point and kills will fall for the two pilot ( on operation clean sweep)
