Well i have formated my comp this week end and finally reinstalled bf2 today...first things i see after gettin in game is that

The fact is that all my settings are like before...first time i have trouble with the game (On the video aspect)

I would like to know what could be the problem...maybe video card overheating...maybe another prob in bf2...anyway

Also if it happened to you and if you know how to fix it

Hum i wonder if any one here can help me updating my Ati Radeon 9600 pro driver...ati product are a pain in the ass to update...aint it just a little file i can dl that will say like...CLICK HERE TO UPDATE....cuz there the "catalyst" thingies...but it kinda suck...and hard to use...

Oops you just made a fatal error. That pic will incriminate you in some way and get you wiped. Maybe not now....maybe not in the near future. But it will happen. Don't ask me why. Don't ask anyone. Nobody will know.

How difficult can you make it? Download the latest driver from ati. Double click on the file. Follow the prompts. It's not exactly brain surgery.

May not be the best thing to do. If you read ATI's website (and pretty much anybody's come to that) they almost always state that you should only install the new drivers if you are having a problem.

Last time I updated my drivers for my ATI card (Radeon 9550, so very similar) I ended up with artifacts everywhere and had to roll the driver back.

My personal advice, install the graphics drivers that came with your card, NOT the most up to date ones and see if that solves your problem.

Try the omega drivers. http://www.omegadrivers.net/ati/win2k_xp.php i've always found that they work better than ati's. If nothing else is working surely it's worth a shot!!
