I don't know if this has been discussed or posted before, but I was passing time in between class and came upon this old article.

Does this mean those servers, advertising as "Knife and Pistol Only," are illegal? Or are they like modified servers?

i know, ive heard it a million times, but has anyone ever actually gotten wiped for playing one of these servers? i highly doubt it.

Does anyone ever really use them? I mean, it doesn't seem that hard to get those kinds of kills on a regular server. I guess maybe from a "speed" standpoint I might understand,  but seems like it would be boring to me.

i played on one once.. piled up a bunch of c4 while the players were having their tactical gagglefuck next to hotel and shazam!.. Basic Explosive Badge, and a kick for excesive team killing. Who'd a thunk it?

Im not 100% sure but reading these forums its thought [N)@(M]Kain was wiped for playing KP servers, like i said its only what i have read, the one time I went on one its was more a PKM server, shame realy i wanted vet/expert explosives!!

I admit I went on one once but I don't like it much, not that fun when you can't use vehicles carbines and such..
