Hey all, I have been shopping around, and I cant seem to find what I am looking for.

Basically, I am looking for the best MicroATX Mobo for less than $150, but all I can find is an eVGA for $99...

What is the best out there, I am looking to build an extreme gaming comp off it.

I think you'll have to spend more than $150 for the best...

why do you want Micro-ATX?

Your not going to find a very good board for that size...

Also, what socket type do you want?

its hard to find a decent micro atx board, most ppl who use micro atx just check thier email and crap like that. Manufactures know this, why not just spend the extra 40 or 50 bux and get a new case....

Socket 939 or AM2

I need micro because I intend to fit it in a very small space...a propane tank.

Basically I want a shrunk down high-quality ATX board.  No need for SLI, but PCI-e and at least 2 PCI slots.  I know a shop that has offered to build me a mico ATX system for gaming, but I want it in a propane tank - they cant do that.  If I have to spend more than 150...well just tell me what it is first.

check out the WMD over at bit-tech.net, it uses smaller than Micro and it works just fine.

Biostar has some pretty nice nVidia 6100 based mATX boards available for both S939 and AM2.  They even have some pretty decent o/c options, and come in well under your $150 price point.

DFI do one I think. No idea how much it costs though.
