Well I kind of meant the EU - I couldn't give a toss about the plebs out east until they accede. In the EU we seem to live in a nice protective sphere where shit goes on all around us and doesn't seem to impact on us....Horseman 77 wrote:

That's a rather recent phenomenon, Cameron, largely influenced by the dreaded, imperialistic U.S.CameronPoe wrote:

EU or USA as they seem to be fine atm, and i dont care if china arent imperialistic atm (even tho taiwan is a..well issue..?) because they have appaling human rights, american may seem big headed at times but lets be honest they are ok at being a superpower
canadians or aussies
if someone says bush...im gonna shoot them
That may be partly thanks to the US, but also to our own endeavours in learning from our mistakes and ensuring that they don't come to pass again.Darth_Fleder wrote:

Imperialism is what destroyed Europe. Now we are pretty much isolationist on everything but matters of economics and trade. We help out with aid where possible but I don't think the general populace of Europe ever want to get involved too heavily with pre-emptive wars or wars for gain anymore (of course some governments act contrary to the desires of the people however...).

maybe I'm being idealistic but I don't believe in superpowers, it can only lead to corruption

Today 05:51:47 -1 Who is your preferred superpower for the future? SPEAK FUCKING ENGLISH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL, English is the only language I know -- that was Google-Spanish, ese. Anyway, I vote for whatever country this guy is from. They seem like nice folks.
You should come and visit Vancouver. The lack of homogeneity would probably make your tiny head explode.

the "untouchables" are the lowest group of people in indian society. they are the dregs. they are the beggars. they are the infirmed. whole lotta that in india
That is very true, in no way did I mean to imply or underestimate by and large the tremendous strides that Europe has made and the ingenuity of its peoples.CameronPoe wrote:

Well, Cameron, the pre-emptive war had a majority of popular support at it's inception...hence Kerry's "I voted for the war before I voted against it". Due to the short attention span that goes with our modern society coupled with the incessant whining of the weak willed and the bombardment of negative reporting the will to see it through has been draining.CameronPoe wrote:

No, they just brutalize their citizens and retain a reputation of having little to no mercy on their enemies. And leave everyone else alone? *cough*CameronPoe wrote:

The difference between India and Australia/US/France/Britain is that India still codifies the class divide, we like to pretend it doesn't exist.GunSlinger OIF II wrote:

I was referring to European popular opinion, at the outset and throughout, in countries like Italy, Spain, Poland and the UK, countries that did actually send troops (although Italy & Spain have reversed their decisions).Darth_Fleder wrote:

Why not letting the 3rd World Countries get a GO?
So to say change the MAP a little.. in mild words.. Don't let people change to the US side on Karkand..
(That was a joke, but sometimes I think BF2 reflects how people are in general.. always wanting x2 points).
Am I totally wrong?

I say Russia+EU. You have cash, we have nukes - we're made for each other!
My vote is that we give power of the world to Canada. Seriously, who really hates Canada? They'd just walk over to whatever country is pissed off and be like "seriously, we're Canada eh?" and then smack the pissed off person across the face with a beaver and everything would be OK.

EU shouldnt even be on there you act as if the EU is some sort of cohesive power. The army is NATO ..the EU is little more than a market and currency system.
