why?

My clanmate just got his stats reset for no reason at all.  He's never stat padded, exploited, or gone against any of the ROE for that matter.  EA won't tell him why they reset his stats either, and from what I understand they won't give you them back.

service for any reasons other than what each feature is designed to do. Any
exploitative behavior and activity is not permitted on the Battlefield 2 service

account were to defraud other players for personal gain, this account will be
immediately terminated. Battlefield 2 exists only because of its community, and
as that sort of anti-social behavior completely contravenes the spirit of the
game, we will remove it in order to protect the rule-abiding members of the
service. Please understand that any additional violations could and likely will
lead to the immediate termination and loss of internet play of this Battlefield
2 account.

...then again you were playing with |TOP| no? I think that automatically flags your account as stats-padded even if you're as honest as George Washington. Either that or IndianScout decided to spin a wheel of |TOP| members to reset and it landed on you after that whole invasion of TBF2's Play the Staff... lmao.

having not seen your stats before the reset i don't know what you had (rank, points, medals etc.)

but that just.. sucks

see, this is why reseting is fucked up and a totally shit idea. just leave everyones stats alone ffs! who gives a toss how they got them, the leaderboard means NOTHING, concentrate on your own game

i never understood why people get so excited if joe bow is stat padding. i dont do it and you can check my stats if you want. but anyways. i dont give a shit if the guy next to me is knifing his buddy for a knife badge. does it really effect me? NO. does it effect me and my game if someone stat pads for a medal?NO so why should anyone really care about someone else stat padding. just play the game the way you want to. but i dont believe in someone hacking or suing a bug.
