AGP, PCI, PCI E whats the best and difference??

Note that the top of the range AGP video cards are more than enough to run BF2 with all settings at high.
If you are buying a new card get PCI-E, because newer games will be too much for the best AGP.
This may require a new mother board, because AGP cards will not fit in a PCI-E mother board and vise versa.

AGP is good if you're an instant value kinda person but PCI-e will help you down the road. PCI is good if you've got nothing else. Don't get confused though, there are 2 AGP slot types and various PCI-e slot types as well. For AGP, there is 2x/4x(nobody makes these anymore really so you shouldn't have to get confused with it) and 4x/x8. For PCI-e, you're going to want x16 not x1 or x4 or anything else.
PCI aint dead, its mostly for internet cards or sound cards
They were reffering to it being dead as far as video cards go. It's only good for MMO games that don't require much as far as graphics go. My friend got a Radeon 9250 that can play WoW on high with everything turned on.cyborg_ninja-117 wrote:
