Everytime i try to play battlefield 2: Special forces it says a file ws nto found. So i reinstalled the game and still same message, and then i got the most recient patch and sitll same message. What it swrong? it syas lighting. somthign was nto found.
clear the files in your temp folder.

This error message is attriubuted to a failed installation of the patch. Please reinstall using the full patch. If you have the patch downloaded there may also be a corruption in the patch file, in this case you will want to re-download the file.

If this does not work you will want to remove the Battlefield 2 folder in the My Documents folder to refresh any damaged or corrupted setting.

i am getting the same thing, i think it might some kinda of patch problem but i posted it here too see if i was correct.
Get the patch from fileshack.
Never had any problems downloading patches from there.
