Well, good luck this evening - I'm out. I'll check in the morning to see how things went, but I've really said all I think I can w/o being there.

I'm fairly certain the problem is the voltage on the new memory. Unless there's a BIOS setting to up the voltage, odds are you won't be able to get it working.
