Hi,

I have had no problems with 1.3 other than the occasional CTD and the server crash that everyone has been having.

I have just purchased and installed AF (and EF too); do I need to reinstall patch 1.3 before I can play the booster packs?

Nope. AF is patched to 1.3 It's up to date. if you instal AF after the next patch though (like 1.31 or 1.4) then you'll have to patch it.

No, you shouldn't. That being said, you probably will.

In all seriousness, AF was designed for 1.3, so you're fine.

I know it's the wrong forum, but do you know if the same applies to EF which came out before 1.3? Or should I just reinstall the 1.3 patch to be sure for both boosters?

Thanks mate.

One last noobarific question...

Are EF & EF integrated into the normal BF2 .exe? i.e. to play on EF/AF do you launch BF2 as normal but then select a EF/AF map?

Or does it work the same way as BF2:SF in that you get a separate desktop shortcut for each of the boosters?
