I have EVGA 7600GT - its cheaper but works great!  All my settings are topped out, no lag.  I had to have some of my settings on medium and others low or off when I had a 6600GT.

meh, get it from a reputable place and if you have problems then you can return it.  I would go for it, for $250 that is a good deal on a great card.

I have never had a problem with mine - all settings high, even AA....does not even lag when art. is raining down and I am in the 50 cal turet of the humvee going 80mph!  the ultimate test imo.....
