The Sierra Club has given Ontario a 'failing grade' because of its plans to expand nuclear power. I cannot possibly think of anything more asinine. Nuclear power is the cleanest source of energy we have that is actually capable of providing the quantities of power we need. Building nuclear plants doesn't involve the massive flooding and environmental damage of hydro dams, as well as the slow release of CO2 and methane from vegetation decomposition. It also doesn't require moving any native people off their land.
