ok, a reeal question, someone said(in my other threads... ) that the turbocache graphics cards use your RAM. if you had alot of RAM, wouldnt that be good?

No, then you get some very irregular RAM set for your computer to use and that is bad. Also, the GPU, Pixel Shaders and Pixel Pipelines still sucks because of the model the TurboCache is using (6200's suck very bad for BF2 anyway).

no, bad because
1. it takes up ram that could be used for other things (i.e. more pagefile usage)
2. the connection between RAM and GFX is sloooooow. It does not really help performance
3. Causes all sorts of weird problems.

I have $1500 to put toward a new PC. ( Just the Tower)
I want to go AMD this time...I currently own Intel 2.66 GHz With a AGP 8X 256Mb on 128bit graphic.Tag along 2G of ram DDR PC3200. The motherboard is an ASUS P4P800-DLX. For BF2 it's alright but I want to leave this one for the my 4 years old and wife and get me a Gaming machine.

I saw AM2 socket...and these board support PCI-Ex and DDR2...

***I need counseling on this and don't want to rely on the dude at the PC part store!!! He just want to sell is shit and don't give a shit most of the time!!!

if you can wait 1 month ... do it ... conroe will be out soon with much better performance and a lower price
