I'm not sure if this was a minor thing you looked over when putting in the information on the vetern badges but when I pulled up my stats and want to see the requirements for getting the vetern air and ground badges all it says for the total time is

Next Badge: Veteran Ground Defense Badge

    * IAR: 12 kills in Ground Defense (Mounted MG or TOW)
    * 15 Total time using Ground Defense
    * Awards: Basic Ground Defense Badge

Next Badge: Veteran Air Defense Badge

    * IAR: 12 kills while on Air Defense (Stinger or AA Vehicle)
    * 30 Total time using Air Defense
    * Awards: Basic Air Defense Badge

Now my question is does it mean 15 and 30 minutes or 15 and 30 hours needed using them?

Nevermind after looking on the ubar page for the requirements I found out it means hours. Maybe someone might want to change that?

Going by how many hours I have in air defense, I'll probably get veteran around 300,000 points.

I have the time I need for the veteran air defense badge and I got 16 kills using the linebacker to hunt down some footsoldiers, but no badge for me. Does it have to be 12 air targets?

Oh, a hint for the ground defense badge....get into TOW or mounted MG and be commander. You get the time and once you got the time the kills you get with the arty counts as ground defense kills.

You were correct! I gave it another go but this time I did the same thing as I did with the vet ground defense badge, I applied to be the commander and got into the air defense turret on the carrier and using the 20 or so kills I got with the arty I was awarded with the veteran air defense badge. Woohoo!! :-D
