find a spot where you can see the action near the front lines.
Take a shot, get a kill and then...RUN! displace and find a new spot as the monkey you just shot probably saw where you were shooting from. He may respawn as a sniper just to take you out.
Look for bushes to take advantage of ghillie suit.
Stay close to the front lines.
Take lots of nodoz as sniping can be sleep inducing.

M95 very little bullet drop, m24 bit more bullet drop, L96a1 lots

Aim at the head, if u cant get a decent shot leave it, or shoot him in the torso and hopefully get a kill dmg assist

Claymores are your best friend

Stay hidden as best u can (obviously)

and most important PRACTICE

I'm amazed nyte hasn't jumped into this thread yet, but anyway just like rustynutz said "practice" and always scan around because if you can see them then they can see you, and watch for spots where you don't think anyone can hide bc thats where they are ,,,, what maps do you plan on practiceing with ?? karkland is good bc of the population in them (most have 64 players) alot in karkand keep there attention on primary ground forces and kinda ignore looking for snipers but there always some enemy snipers watching you ,,,, another good one I like is wake bc you can head shot them from one side of the island to the next and if you go SF Ghost town is my fav. but thats a shoot and move tactics bc there are alot of spots you can get up to with ziplines are grappling hooks & rope
but good luck and good hunting

find a little hidy hole i have one on karkand which is imune to arty and u cant be shot unless there direstly infornt of you, even then its hard for them to see you. The best bit is that its about 30 ft from a flag that you can see
You have to learn the rules of the game and then you have to play better than anyone else.

one tip is to never stay in one place for to long, as soon as you hear a bullet whiz by you leave and find a new spot dont stick around.

If you can't get a clear shot, then don't take.
A bullet wasted, is a wasted kill.

Try not to snipe on maps with attack helos and if you do dont shoot the helo, I always see guys doing this and I just TV-missile them or shoot some rockets. They always wonder "why did they die" and "how did I see them?"

You can actually find some spots on sharqi where noone can see you well. I don't really bother with moving after every shot bc if I like the position I can have a good round. If somone sees you jus back into cover and stay for a little while n they lose interest.
Also if you hit the torso, pull out the pistol, right mouse button, then jus unload the clip in their direction, easy pistol kill

Also, if you are sure they've took even the slightest damage (2+ bars of damage), aim for anywhere on the body because it will still do enough to kill them and you don't have to risk missing. I live for the M95 even though the crosshairs are massive. I've got enough practice with it that I take it over the M24 any day. Definately don't sit in the open though unless you're POSITIVE you can survive. Also, if you climb a ladder to the top of a building, place a claymore at any acces point to that roof such as the ladder, so that no one comes up and knifes you or anything. Have fun and practice!
