I turned off the power plug and my com went off when i was doing anything. It managed to boot up without problems but will it spoil?
Probably you'll be just fine if it booted up nicely.
Don't make it a habit, though!

I would move your Powerstrip so it's away from where you can accidently hit it... I would also recommend getting an APC unit instead of that crappy strip, not an expensive one, something like this would do: http://www.computergate.com/products/it … =PUPABE550Ayumiz wrote:

I have one similar to that, a little more powerful, and it saved me quite a few times.
that is absolutely no problem ... the only thing that can happen is that data gets corruted but the hardware will not take damage
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
Awhile back, When you had to park yor HD heads, you could of done come serious damage. lol.
But yer fine,
But yer fine,
why do you turn off the power supply switch? And why are you doing that to turn off your pc? You should be using start->shutdown to turn it off, not hitting the switch as both unplugging/switch will have the same effect. If anything just push the button on the front of your case as windows is pretty much smart enough to go through the shutdown process if it sensed that button being pushed.Ayumiz wrote:

If you want to get pricey, you could go for a T-90 powerstrip or an M1A1INCSOC wrote:
