As a lot of you probably know, many of us are having an issue when we click the "Join Now" the screen goes blank and it quits to the Desktop. I have been researching many forums and in constant contact with EA Tech support and I have come to the conclusion that NOBODY knows how to fix the issue.
Well, it happened again today (as usual) and I decided to check me System Logs and Event Viewer and noticed a very interesting pattern. Every time my BF2 crashed to the desktop, my system recorded a System Error (Found in Administrative Tools / Computer Managment):
TYPE DATE TIME SOURCE CATEGORY EVENT
======================================================================
Warning 06/07/06 12:03 PM Tcpip None 4626
Warning 06/06/06 3:07 PM Tcpip None 4626
There are many others all during the time when my PC crashes to the desktop while using BF2.
Here is the actual error message:
"TCP/IP has reached the security limit imposed on the number of concurrent TCP connect attempts."
To download a fix for this, go here. http://www.speedguide.net/read_articles.php?id=1497
THIS IS A POSSIBLE FIX, I AM TRYING IT NOW AND WILL REPORT BACK!
