what a bloody waste. they should have tested a missile on it instead of rigging it with explosives. hell, they shouldve have done the MOAB test on this ship!

The Yorktown is in Cahrleston, SC @ Patriot's Point and the Hornet is at Alemada CA, naval museum.
maybe if they did that in BF2 make it so that you need t put soe C4 packs in JUST the right place, 10 of them along the bottom of the carrier............ but it shoudl be inbvunerable to bombs, or baserapers woudl easily win for pla on wake. the |USMC would only haved the arty island left as a spawn point.
Wake Island in Desert Combat included Anti-ship cannons in various positions around the island. You were actually able to destroy the carriers if you shot them enough. Too bad they removed them from BF2.
