Its 1942 revamped..... And I loved 1942
At first, it really sounds like a MIDI file with electronic trumpets and whatnot...but the military march version of it tends to grow on you after a while.
I have music off always. So i missed it and didnt even know that there is new music... so now i will listen to it.

The 1942 music didn't need to be revamped, it was perfect.
I like it better that the China and MEC music because it brings the game back to it's 1942 roots, but honestly it lacks power. The BF theme is pretty cool, but it needs to be played with the 1940s era army band, not some 17th century classical orchestra.
Can someone get me a link to hear the original BF1942 loading music? I can't get it anywhere.

meh....I have the music turned off and listen to Trivium on the headset. I'd rather hear a 2 year old banging pans together than listen to anything else.

Anyway, the AF music is quite glorious.
It starts off quiet and I'm just use to starting up right from the get go. It's pretty good though.

I never played 1942 as In those days I still had the worlds worst dial up connection (26.4KBPS to be exact) but I still love the revamped version of its theme, Sure it doesnt bring nostalgia like it does to some of you... but its still great damnit!

I prefer the Armoured Fury Music, the normal BF2 music just got boring after so long listening to it.
I would have liked to have the 1942 music play instead...not a re-make....just a re-mastered version (in other words it sounds better)
I like the Armored Fury music better, most likely because I'm a brass player.
The Colonial Snares suit Armored Fury well. Gives it an American Revolution feel which is perfect for protecting the States against foregin invaders.

I like both of them
Though I never played BF1942 I actually heard the music when my friend was playing it and asked him what game it was, then I promptly downloaded the music and it's some of the most hardcore music. The fact that they touched on that with armored fury is awesome. The music is way better! (Though bf2's music is good too)
