So, since I have never played as commander and never bothered getting the basic badge I never knew about the little problem I have until last night.

I am not sure why this happens, but when the round ends or I try to leave the commander's screen, everything is a complete, garbled mess. Textures are screwed up and it seems like the systems hangs. It takes a reset of the comp to be able to do anything. I have yet to hear of anyone with this problem. I don't think it's the computer as it runs everything just fine at all other times.

When in the commander's screen, everything operates as it should. All buttons work, and no funky textures. I don't have any problems with lag, but as soon as I leave that view is when the trouble starts. At this rate, it's gonna be hard to get the basic commander's badge dangit!!

I have the latest drivers for everything. Perhaps a reinstall is in order????

it takes me 1 sec to exit the screen and i think it is due to the views esp. the 3xzoom
the game switches a render mode (just a guess)...

but my guess is... it is your comp (maybe gfx card and or driver)

I use to have this problem before... I thought it was my video card which was an ATI All-in-Wonder X800XT, and after it died... which I think was the problem, I brang it back to COMPUsa, cause I got that handy-dandy replacement thingy.. So I got a brand new one, and it hasn't done it every since.  Oh and by the way.. do you play cs? and get red boxes that flash in and out on it?  Cause I had a whole s*&@ load of problems with that card before I got a new one.  So I would try to do a couple things
1. get Driver Cleaner Pro
2. Run Driver Cleaner Pro for your video card drivers only
3. Restart Machine
4. Reinstall newest version of drivers for your video card and see if that fixes it.

I don't have any other problems in this game or others. Just exiting command view is where it gets screwy for me. I'll retry uninstalling and reloading the drivers again (newest verion of course). As far as I know, the card is working just as it should be.


Also, no I don't play CS.

What kind of video card do you have? Just so I can get some BGI on the card before I try and help you out more.

yes I just "Brang" it back to COMPusa... excuse me for not using proper edicate on a blog forum.  I will try and be proper and user proper tense and grammar from now on in proximity of your perfectness.  And excuse me for using slang to make what I am trying to get through to someone who needs help quickly and easily understandable.  So why don't you take yourself and go flame your 2nd grade teacher before you get embarrased.

Nice to know im not the only one with this Problem...

Yes for some reason The game dosen't like Leaving the Commander Control Screen.

Things i've done to avoid the issue is...don't exit it untill the end, and before the rounds over make sure no UAV or Scanners are going across the Map Because thats what Gets me Most Times.

So if you can't figure it out with the abover help, Try my way... also try using the 'Home' Key instead of 'Caps Lock' Could also be a cause...
