1) An option for the player to indicate whether they want to be revived or not. This would eliminate the annoyance of being shot and revived multiple times.
2) On the subject of team balancing: the game will switch players who aren't in squads. This is a team game, so perhaps lone wolves should maybe have to make that sacrifice of maybe being moved over to the other team. It's incredibly annoying to have an amazing squad going, only for your medic/supply guy to be chucked off onto the other team.
3) A better-sounding L85A1. It sounds like a pop-gun.
4) Another set of voice commands, such as "I'm on my way", "Stop here" or "No way j00 sux0rs" (ok, not the last one).
5) Harking back to the Scout (I think) in BF42: giving, say, Spec Ops some binoculars with which they can spot/laser paint targets for bombers/mortar launchers.
Additionally, I reckon mission-based maps, akin to the plot of Blackhawk Down, would rock. One team is US, and has to enter the city in a humvee column to retrieve political figures and rescue troops. The other team play the Somalians, and have to stop them.
