Sorry for my over excitement, but look http://www.bf2s.com/awards.php go down to Airborne Specialist Ribbon and you see 1 person has it! How?!

If anyone could fill me in about how some one got a jet ribbon for SF when there are no planes (that i know of - and anyone who says night flight im way ahead of you!) then please do.

Any links to who has it? And feel free to faint with the excitement of such a revelation

oh yeh and some one has the European Union Service Ribbon as well (so much excitement i think i just wet myself)! Its like Christmas has come early....!

Wait wait...I'm sure it has something to do with the BFTEST people, the people who test the new patches and what-not, i'm sure one of them has the ribbons. I win.

Yeah Guys, but can someone please explain to me how 126 People can have the EU Special Service Medal, while only 1 has the EU Service Ribbon??? I can't believe that those 126 played 50 hours in the EU Theater without being on all three EU Maps!!!!

damn you got me with the edit! yeh that would seem to explain the EU ribbon, but how can ANYONE even EA get a jet ribbon when there are no jets? A link to see these shiny new ribbons would be nice...

#1.EA is doing some testing for new SF maps with Jets
#2.Maybe the ribbbon was added to Armored Fury
#3.Someone modded their ranked server for SF.

There must be a jet hidden somewhere on one of the 64-player sized maps. The n00bs that played in it and got pwned by the jet probably just thought it was normal so they didn't say anything here. Just a speculation though.

I hope #1 is true and it's wuite a possibility.
#2 wouldn't make sense because AF isn't part of SF, that's why there's USMC, PLA, and MEC.
I wonder if #3 is possible, it can't be ranked because I think ranked games have to use PB, and if you use mods, PB has to keep you from using it. Unless you made a cloaked mod like that one guy did back acouple of months ago.

Still, this jet thing in SF is an exciting new possibility, maybe the U.S. will have F-22 Raptors or F-16s or an F-15(non-Strike Eagle). Maybe MEC will have an older Mig model. Like I said, all just speculation.

If I'm not mistaken the vanilla "Airborne Ribbon" is for parachute time, which you can get without a jet by parachuting from a building a few times. So I would assume the "Airborne Specialist Ribbon" is for parachute time in Special Forces maps. If you're looking for a jet ribbon I would suggest "Aerial Service Ribbon". But that still leaves one question......why isn't it listed on your personal stats page?

OMG dont you know that theres a hidden passage in Warlord and Ghost Town, it will lead you to hidden airport with jet.
I tried to get that ribbon but im not so good with jet and SF maps are hard for jets anyway, but soon I will get that ribbon. xD
