I have a G5 and love it.
I would recommend it for anyone looking at upgrading.

The G7 is like a lovely hybrid of the G5 and the MX1000. I have the MX1000 and wish I had some of the gaming features. The G7 has two rechargable battery packs with room for one in the mouse and one in the base, so you always have a fresh pack ready to go at the first sign of a weak charge. So you have the joy of wireless w/o the cost of batteries.wedge3382 wrote:

Since this is the first online game I have ever played, I didnt know about all the cool accessories you could get. So, I bought me a copper head even after I looked at the other ones on the market.
To be honest, not knowing ANYTHING about gaming when I bought it, I only bought it because I can use it left handed. I thought the other G series looked better. Just my .02....
