Well u can throw C4 a decent distance again, but its harder than in 1.03.

Do you think it's OK to allow people to throw it, or should server admins ban it?

keep in mind that without throwing, you have to walk up to something to place C4 on it, which can be annoying and dangerous.

C4 tossing IS back! Now I can take out tanks from the other side of a fence. Its still not as effective as it used to be, as you can no longer jump and detonate at the same time - therefore making it difficult to dodge fire long enough to get the kill.

c4 throwing made infantry and squads much stronger forces to be reckoned with. it was a shame short-sighted people whined.. because that same "c4 whore" at karkand who is bunny hopping is the same dude totally capable of taking out the "tank whore" that is "spawn whoring." but little nublets can never put 2 and 2 together. they'd rather see some kind of trench warfare where everybody has a single shot gun and fires from the same distance and where movement isn't allowed - rather you automatically move side to side and bob up and down like one of those ducks at a carnival game.

But not for this game! I have to agree with you, as C4 was a vital element of the game! Next people will be calling people 'gun-whores' and say "use your knife"! This game will turn into a boxing game and eventually a picnic for 64...

It doesnt really effect me, I don't think ive had too many people fling c4 my way. I spoe it makes sence...C4 wouldn't be that heavy...hell, maybe even lighter than a grenade...so it should be able to be thrown. Then again, this game isnt exactly realistic

C4 throwing should be ok, i havnt been able to do it propably since they nerfed it, but they should make you able to throw it like a grenade, it will give tank whores something else to think about.

Holy crap, those two last post were stupid!

C4 trowing is not ok. You could easily destroys tanks before 1.3. Throwing c4 far, gives the spec-op a redicules advantage. He is already a good kit without that ability.
If you want to destroy tanks from a distance then pick the antitank kit, thats what its there for.

You call Anti-Tank a armour destroyer? First, the armour will take you down, and they usually have infantry crawling all over them. The degree of difficulty to aim onto the treads without being killed makes this a specialist kit with hardly players, and engineers will stop you destroying the armour. Read so many threads on the subject.

The specops has a good weapon and granades. Use them to take down the people aroung the silly tank, and then blow it to bits afterwards. Your reason for wanting to throw c4, sounds more like your lack of skill to me (havent looked at your stats, so arent commenting on those).

I loved c4 throwing, now you have to stroke the tank to get c4 on it, usually you end up getting killed before you can even get close to it, or you get killed when the tank "brushes" you.

That'd also make the kit better than all the other kits as all you'd need to do is throw some c4 to kill them.
