BF2S Forums Will 1.3 patch effect your Decision to buy 'Armored Fury?'

Pre 1.3 i wanted to buy the Armored Fury Booster Pack - because it got a lot of new vehicles/objects. But since the 1.3 debacle i'm neither buying Armored Fury nor BF2142.

Since 1.3 the game is unplayable - i'm not talking about gameplay changes like cardrops etc, rather about how unstable BF2 is meanwhile. If you try to connect to a Server you must have luck to net get 3 CTD in a row and if you're on a server chances are low that you're able to finish the round without the server crashing.

Recently we're thinking about what game we're going to play next and 1.3 is pushing us straight to Enemy Territory: Quake Wars.

Yes.  I'm not buying AF until there's a stable patch like 1.22.  We may have to wait for a 1.32 to get is stable again, so it might be a while.

To be honest, AF looks pretty kewl.  I really want to try that scout helo.

But... EuroForce sucks ass like nothing else. I hate that booster. I might have to give it another go though, just to make sure.

It will not affect my decision, cause i never supported
EA/Dice`s greed for money. I didnt buyed SF nor any
other of this shit. It started with SF (which was finished at
Bf2-Release and a part of it, but they took it out the game,
to get more money) and will never end. Now they tryin
to make Bf2 unattractive step by step (or patch by patch),
just to have a better number of sells, when Bf2142 is gonna
released. I WILL NEVER EVER AGAIN INVEST MONEY IN SOMETHING
THAT IS PUBLISHED BY EA...

I'm not sure if that's the exact tactic, as a buggy BF2 also throws a bad shadow on B2142 imo

I personally agree 100%. But i think its just a minority who take consequences
from a buggy BF2. Before SF was released, the tenor of  the people was:
"We will not pay for anything that was meant to be a part of the fullgame."*
Then SF was released...
What i mean is, they forgive/forget very fast.
Of course i cant tell for sure, that this the tactic from EA.
But for me it looks like that.

Nope not able to buy it anyway, no creditcard. then you say buy it on Ebay (if there is going to be a box version of it ???????) anyway if there is im not going to do that also because last time when i wanted to buy EF, the store had a dept of 5000 euro's at the shipper, yup great, so the kept my EF !. Argh

I don't think I'm going to buy it. like some else already mention and many others, 1.3 is crap. If that is how they treat this game then why should I buy it. I would rather just whipe my ass with a 10 dollar bill + tax and throw it in the shitter.  How ever, I am going to wait until I see less complaints and more pros than cons about AF. I can't even play 30 mins. without my shit crashing. So why should I pay 10 bucks and still have it crashed. I have a small theory how ever. normally the game is released right after the patch. Maybe they are actually holding the game and are saying "wait we fucked up." Lets put out another patch so more people would buy. If I worked at ea that's what I would do. At least that would stop all the complaints. So I'm expecting a better patch to be released within the next 3 or so weeks. I am hoping that it will fix everyone's problems and make it to where I can play 3+hours in a row like I used to. Expect a new patch soon.

personally i didn't like euro mainly cause it is running on the original bf..(Red)...i think that if armored furry runs on the mod of sf then probably i will buy it...but again...i think that euro sucked...and i hope that armored does....
They should create more city maps...cause field one are mainly for armored vehicles and they can get pretty boring

I'll get it, I just hope they fix everything before they abandon us for 2142.
