BF2S Forums how to make singleplayer better.......

There is a mod out to make more bots and change the map features to accomadate the extra bots OR you could just change the number of bots yourself.
This requires a small bit of info which is easy to find and change.
Im not at my home machine so the route to the folders ill post later if some one else dosnt beat me to it.
BTW you need a lot of extra power to run a bunch of bots!! I have a 2.8 witha gig of ram and 10 per side runs well. 20 per side is a slide show.

B4 you do this back up any file you plan on changing. I dont want to hear crying.

Go to this file on your computer it should be in this folder if your 1.3 LOL.

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\AI

change this file to this by renameing it.            AIDefault.ai              to this
AIDefault.txt

SAVE.
Open
AIDefault.txt

Change this line to however many bots you want.
aiSettings.setMaxNBots 40

Now reverse the process.
RENAME
AIDefault.txt                             back to
AIDefault.ai

I have 40.

Ill have to ammend my first post and say 64 bots was to many, 40 is fine on my machine.
