Hmmm, thats a good post to a forgotten topic of mine

I actually like the the C2 (partly cos its British ), Ive always hated the MEC T90, mainly for its HUD (I find the crosshair for the machine gun to be really crap! personal preference). But o well. Thanks for the info, I might have to look into this with a friend on an empty server.

It can take 4 or 5 shots to kill a tank if they have an engineer and/or supply crate behind him fixing him.

Maybe thats cause people know about the weak points in the tank armor.  I dont know if its by design or by glitch but it appears armor is getting worthless.  I have seen videos of the single shot to front track kills, and I have been on the recieving end of the C-ring hits..  I think its a flaw, and EA is just to proud to let everyone know they screwed up again.

It's actually not hitting the C-Ring, most of the time, it's that the tank shells ricochet from the chassis to the turret, thus doing double the damage. If you directly hit the C-Ring, it only does massive damage but no ricochet.

Yep, seen all the videos too.  (my buddy produced one of them, in fact).  Regardless, the kind of hits that I'm suffering seem... very accurate.  We're talking about moving targets at something like 100-200 meters over bumpy terrain.  I could see the 1-shot kills from short range where tanks are just looking at each other, but... these seem to indicate either a phenomenal rise in accuracy of gunners with AF, OR a possible problem with moving hitboxes.  (I'm guessing the latter)

CannonFodder...hmmm........used to work with a guy that used that nick.  He was an arty officer in the Guard - last seen playing in the sand somewhere.
