Here is something I discovered while playing the new 1.3 beta patch. It's a new exploit that doesn't involve dropping vehicles in front of aircraft runways nor on top of buildings. What this exploit does is destroy commander assets.
To see this exploit, which is rather bad, all you have to do is this.
Apply for Commander
Now drop a vehicle, aimed very well, on the artillery or radar station of the enemy.
If it lands correctly the vehicle will stick to the top of the asset and then explode after a small duration of time destroying the artillery piece or radar station.
The damage done to the commander asset is the equivilent of placing 5 C4 on an asset. Those that have played engineer know when an asset is damaged more than the 100% and know that this can be achieve by placing more than the required 2 C4 charges on it. The vehicle drop exploit damages the commander asset by 200%!
This exploit obviously is not suppose to happen. I have witnessed it with my own eyes watching the vehicle fall from the sky and land on an asset. I did not see it work on the UAV however. It most likely has something to do with the static mesh of the artillery or radar not being able to slide the vehicle off of the object and so it sticks and causes havoc on the engine. Not knowing what to do it defaults to destroying the vehicle and the asset.
This is in my opinion the worst part of the vehicle drop aspect. The rest of the "exploits" I have seen written are not that bad in comparison to this.
FYI guys and keep your eyes to the sky if you are an engineer repairing commander assets.
