I got 1.03 the first day it came out ( i think ), i installed it and everything has been fine. i also noticed that when i startup up the game the version it tells me i'm running is like 1.1.1 somethin like that, not sure of the specific numbers but i know it's not 1.03....when i look for servers like 900 come up so i'm sure the patch is installed and working correctly.....just wondering why that shows up like that
Yeah I noticed that. Dice seems to have trouble getting versioning correct on anything they put out. As long as it works is all that matters
1.1.2551, i think. Nothing to do with what EA calls it at all. That's more of an internal numbering thing.

That's the build number of the program; every time EA compiles changes made to BF2, even if it doesn't get released, that number will increase.
