medium w/ aa X2 at 1280@1024... but now w/ 1.3 if u run everything high, the game will go into blue screen of death and u have to reboot

If i run it all on high with 1.3, my computer will set on fire actually.

I play in 1027x768 resolution. That with medium settings should be good.

hey guys how would you suggest i get the most out of my system? its a 3.0GHz P4, 512MB x2 DDR400, BFG Tech Nvidia 6800 GT Overclocked.

I run at 800x600 right now with all the settings at low because i couldnt figure out how to get it to run smoothly online. What settings could i keep low but be able to raise up the res and detail? Offline i can play at maxxed decently but those are the 16 maps, i like to play on the 64s.

Ohh and i think its a 450 or 500w psu, i forgot what i put in and im running on Win XP Pro SP2.

meh, medium. type renderer.drawfps 1 to find the frames per second, i recomend u get an average of 40 or above

your system is a P4, but otherwise the same as the OP. You both have only 1 gig of ram and a 6800gt. I think you should be able to run this game at least around 1024x768 with AA off but whatever other settings you like at or near high.
I was pulling 30 to 40 fps last night on a semperon 3100 with a 6600gt. I had the res at 1024x768 and everything important on high. Load a big game and give it a few minutes to see if the lag goes away. I think your problem is a lack of ram.

I've lots of people complaining about this, and strangely my computer hasn't been affected by that yet, the only thing that bothers me is that, when I play Moders Karkand I with my settings on high, except for Texture and Shadows, AA off and view distance 100%, then I've pretty much good gameplay, but then when I load up Moders Ghost Town, on SF I've my settings all on medium and then I'm having terrible lagg, except when I'm the commander Thats the only thing that I noticed after patch 1.3
