EDIT: never mind I get it, but anyways a M249 doesnt do much damaged, even when u have like 10 of those set up against a chopper, u just spray with the MG and the rockets and waaam u got 10 kills

Yeah but that isnt a MG on a boat..
Isn't the gun on top of a tank at least a .50 cal?
The ones on the boat are pellet guns compared to the tank turret.

Well to start, samfink, you can't use the jets on the carrier. There is no jets in SF. And the easiest way onto the carrier is in the APC get a squad in there take your time and most of the chopper pilots miss you and you and get right in behind the EngineRoom and pile out and away you go. Simple

Sam, in the Iron Gator map, there are no jets you can fly. There aren't any jets in all of the Special Forces pack that you can get in and fly. You are thinking of the map,
Gulf of Oman.

Get some good men to charge with jetskis as soon as the round starts, they can make it to the engine room before the americans, watch a door each (the quickest way is from flight deck) and blast 'em before they get it. I've tested it a few times solo, but it will involve taking out 2 or 3 people singlehandledly.

Turning the table on the MEC would involve preventing this manuvuer and guarding the engine room well for the whole round. Bit of C4 at the top of the ladders for the few that don't get blasted in the water. And having a good enough chopper pilot to tie up the enemy chopper rather than let it give backup to the few troops who make it onto the deck makes a big difference. Nicking their chopper is very painful to the MEC side, and once it's up don't do anything risky with it.

An other way: Go into a boat, with an other guy playing as support. Go arround the gator, stay outside with the boad that the AT can not hit you, and fill everything up with tear gas. Swimm in, kill everyone capture the flag. (Ok, that needs a lot of luck, but its better than the taktik "take a boat for your self, goto iron gater, get killed")

I dont remember those days, I remember the days where nobody knew how to get around that fucking ship and the MEC would overthrow the bottom deck of the ship while all of the us soldiers are circle jerking over the apache on deck only to have a competent hind pilot come and shove 14 hellfire rockets up someones ass.

Those were the good ole days, getting 79 kills and 0 deaths. Cause the only spawnpoint the seals have are the viewing deck with literally no way to get backdownstairs.

Even if you were able to hop the fuk out of there to the stairs to the engine room.. you were sure to meet 2-3 guys coming up..
