Not sure if there was a post on this already, and wasn't quite sure what search terms to use...
I downloaded the FULL 1.3 patch and installed it, the installer comes back and says that it finished successfully,
yet when I load BF2 and go online, a screen pops up telling me to download the latest patch (1.3) and at the bottom right of the screen it says my version is 1.1.2878-710.0

Any suggestions why this patch is "installing" but not actually showing?

Your showing the correct version I believe. They rounded it up to 1.3 as it sounds more sexy than 1.12878-710.0

are u kidding me....thats the VERSION, not the patch!...u can check ur patch in ur files.!

last i checked.. when  you patch something with a patch version, it usually changes the software version as well...

and again, if i'm up to the current patch (just rounded up) then why does the "Download 1.3 patch now!" window still keep popping up?

ive made a thread asking for an awnser about the co-op and bot control,but i never get an awnser,doesent SOMEONE know how to fix this problem?!

Everyone gets that.  It is their advertisement window that they added in I think patch 1.03 or 1.1 if I am not mistaken. It'll keep showing that until they upload another ad like, "DOWNLOAD ARMORED FURY NOW!"
