I am currently working on a video that shows all the bugs in 1.3.
As of right now, I have 9 recordings of different bugs occuring.
I recorded the vids with FRAPS which you know makes large files out of small videos, so my question is :

Does anybody know of a good video compressor?

I have done searches on the web for them but alot of them are complicated.
Please, if you have a good one that is easy to find and navigate with please share.

Virtualdub:

You may also want the divx codec (optional though):

http://www.divx.com/divx/windows/codec/

I linked just the codec, there is a full media player as well, but who wants/needs another media player

I presume you are using premier pro? If you are, make your movie then go to File>export>adobe media encoder. Here are the settings you should use:

Medium quality/good compression settings:
>Windows media
>Windows media 9 (codec)
>Two pass
>Bit rate set too 1,000
>Image quality set to 100
>Size too 640x480

High definition video:
>Windows media
>Windows media 9 (codec)
>Two pass
>Bit rate set too 8,500
>Image quality set too 100
>Video size 1024x768 upwards (1280x1024, 1600x1200 etc)

Hope I've helped

Instead of DivX, please look into using XviD as a video codec.  It's free, open source, and does not come with anything fishy in the EULA.  Plus, you get the largest audience possible with such a codec, as it can be viewed on OS X, BSD variants, and on Linux.

Oops, almost forgot... you can get the XviD codec (which comes with both the DirectShow filter for view/playback and the compressor for encoding) at this site here.
