as long as switzerland is not part of it (and the uk is welcomed to join us) i dont really care.
Seriously: it wont work. The people are just too different. maybe a France (and their lapdog germany) Italy & Spain union would work, or a UK & scandinavia & netherlands union would work. Also a germany/austria & and eastern countries would work (hey lets spit poland (j/k)). But all of europe: NEVER!

You'll have to get the Euro soon, it's written in the constitution that all countries must share the same currency, and you cant just leave the EU, that would bring the british economy to a halt. And also, there already is a European anthem, it's a classic by beethoven or something. And Sweden is like the USA of scandinavia, we laugh at everybody, cause we think we're so huge. And yes, we do pwn Finland at hockey. But i do support ya'll in the Lordi thing. Yes i love Finnish music, Nightwish LOVE!!

what constitution? you mean the one that failed? as long as the Uk doesn't accept it there is no way of enforcing it. You cant kick them out either. in order for the EU to make any ruling all countries need to agree. Also how are you goint to sell a constiution to the  Uk citizens? The UK doesnt even have one.

And for the UK economy being destroyed by an expulsion form the eu: on what do you base this claim? Many of the countries that are in europe but not in the EU (CH and the eastern countries that are not part of the EU (also seen "historically" until the new 25 members joined)) have good (and partially even better) economiacally growth than the EU average.

And for the sweden/finland thing: i'm sure its like the relationship between germany and austria / france and belgium. They laugh at them and make fun of them, but in reallity they get allong pretty well

EDIT: flame me but i always thought that finland wasnt a pure "member" of scandinavia. I thought that they were a mixture of russia and scandinavia

Here's the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth:

-Finland, before independency has been a part of Sweden (pre 1809)
-Finland was lost by the Swedes in 1809 to Russia, where it continued existence as an autonomous region
-Finland gained independency in 1917 and has been in two wars since for its borders (the winter war 1939 (a direct result of the nazi-soviet-non-aggression pact ) and the continuation war 1941-44)
-Finland isn't directly a scandinavian country, but is definitely not Russian.
-Scandinavia is basically Sweden, Norway and Denmark (although sometimes also Iceland, the Faeroe islands and Greenland(which is a Danish self-governed territory) are included)
-If Finland is added to the context, the more or less official term is "The Nordic Countries"

European Union sucks, doing this would just take more free rights away from people.

It would be a hard task to unite Europe. The US had something in common, out here we have had dozens of wars against each other, and huge differences. Still I think a united EU in ways like the US will come someday. Like said, the Euro is a start. I have no idea what GB would do, but I dont mind letting Turkey in. They're becoming a more and more Western country and they are the border between the other European countries and the middle east in case anything nasty happens (meant positively, not like Turkey being cannon fodder). Whatever name it will be, I'm in. It takes some time and a lot of money from rich countries including the Netherlands, but the result would be real nice.
My only question is, would the US or any other world leading country allow another leading union?
