a huge increase in ping every so often? I am not sure what the cause of this is but it has definatly come on after 1.3. I don't use the lag reductions as they don't really help and I have just checked and my PB is updated. Any solutions?

I had the lowest ping on a server just now (19-24) and then it shot up to 500, stayed for about 20 seconds then came down again

yea, i occasionally get a 600-700 spike that last for what seems forever...

None really, just experiencing the same. Have been kicked with a ping of about 250-400 from 5 or 6 different servers on which I usually had pings between 12 and 45. EA should better find the problem for this very soon, because as with most patches before, most of us will be able to get along with the changes somehow and adapt to them, but this is something one can't adapt to.Sgt.Davi wrote:

I don't know if this is related, but I saw a server ping that was like 784562818 but it played fine.
This server was running 1.3.

Yes I have started getting massive ping spikes after 1.3 as well. It goes up to ~600 for about 30 seconds and then back to normal, and makes bombing targets in a plane rather difficult, heh.

Iv'e seen similar problems with Ping recently, I'll be playing at around 30-70ms then bam... 700ms Ping, and I've been kicked just as I near my Expert Spec Forces... mutha fuck..
I never had the problems others were complaining about w/ NetCode?? Least not enough to Notice..
If this is a problem with 1.3, I guess I should stop yelling at my Girlfriend for using my Laptop and P2P while I'm gamming.. Though I probly still will
