BF2S Forums Patch is sweet, go buy a better computer

well, the server browser isnt exactly the same.  if you sort by ping, it auto-resorts when you click on a server.  it can get annoying.

i agree with everything else though.  my ping is lower also.

The server list is fucked up and the vehicle drops bugs on Great Wall. Test to drop a car on the wall and hit a box. The car will be about one meter above the ground.

find it funny you peopel complain about a company that has made such an AMAZING game.  I have played a few solid hours and havent noticed a different in gameplay at all.  sorry you all whine and suck

flag caps aren't easier
in previous patches the flag cap graphic didn't update when more than one person entered the cap zone... now the graphic accurately displays the rate at which the flag is lowering.

i would also like to say "fuck you" because the patch has serious issues that have nothing to do with computer specs and another "fuck you" on behalf of everybody who purchased this game based on the advertised specifications and maybe doesn't have the money (or probably in your case since you don't seem to understand that, any of "mommy and daddy's money) to upgrade for a videogame that by all right they shouldn't have to upgrade for.

The lag/fps drop/crashes are due to changes in the game. Each patch affects more people. You were just lucky not to get a bugged install.

i hope it's sarcasm because otherwise it would be complete BS... there are more than enough people with superbrianiacmonster computers and they still get crappy performance because the game has some issues... luckily enough I have no probs anymore but I used to have 12 fps with my x1800xt - and I dont quite think that this is a crappy card...
true the patch has some nice features and all but it's annoying that they mess up such obvious things as the server browser and it's even more annoying that some people like you act like their are all high and mighty and everyone else is an idiot, because your game runs fine

I think the patch SUX!!!!! that squad hopping is the only way to teamplay... the've taken that away ! I HATE EA ! .. exept for the humve dropping

myn is fine and yea my pc is great but it's still no reason to boast?!
the server list IS broken when ordered by ip, and theres no refresh button anymore lol

but thankfully 2.5Ghz of overclocked venice cpu, 2gb of xms3200xl, an asus a8n sli premium 2 7800gt's in sli an xfi and a sata raid 0 array love the ingame.. it does seem smoother than before, and it loads just about the same.. only thing i see different to be perfectly honest is the jets seem somehow slower :S
also lazer guided missiles barely if EVER miss.. in one round i managed to take out 4 jets, yes jets, and 3 attack choppers.. they just go where u point them at last

but still, people have ALOT of issues.. all that hardware.. and if i close bf2 i have to reboot to re-open it.. because whenever i close it.. and click bf2 it gives me a crash report to send.. great.. reboot..
it IS screwed, YES they make patches.. but you would seriously think instead of making one bigass fucking beta, they'd test simple things like the fucking server browser?!

well said, i probably have a better PC than the guy who started this post but i'm not retarded enough to say this patch doesn't have issues. The server browser IS FUCKED so dont talk shite, you click on a server that says it has 34/60 players and yet the player list will sometimes appear empty. Pings in server list will come up above 200000 sometimes, special forces has random crashes to desktop on map load, vehicle drop is bugged on some maps, performance HAS NOT been increased i still get a soild 60 FPS like i used to, DEEP BREATH........ and finally the original poster is a complete and total fucking jackass who obviously knows absolutely jackshit about games and how they work so go back into the dark hole you came out of as your obviously blind and being in the dark probably suits you best.
